Unique purple and gray agate slice pendant. The stone was hand wrapped in square .935 Argentium Silver in a minimalist style which secures the stone while allowing the unique characteristics of it to remain the focal point.

This pendant measures approximately 2.25" from the top of the handcrafted bail to the bottom of the stone and about 1.75" across the broadest part of the stone.

Agate is said to balance Yin/Yang energy. Some people carry agate as an amulet when traveling because they believe it is a protective stone. Agate is named for the Achetes River in Sicily where it was first discovered.

Argentium Silver is more pure than traditional Sterling Silver. It is tarnish resistant and it has hypoallergenic properties. Because fewer chemicals are used in the production of Argentium Silver than Sterling, this product is also more environmentally friendly. While Argentium Silver is more expensive, I have determined to utilize this instead of Sterling Silver when possible because of its benefits to people and to Mother Earth.
