This is a large statement pendant measuring approximately 2.75" from the top of the handcrafted gold filled wire bail to the bottom of the stone and 1.25" across the broadest point.

Agate is said to balance Yin/Yang energy. Some people carry agate as an amulet when traveling because they believe it is a protective stone. Agate is named for the Achetes River in Sicily where it was first discovered.
